Another well known beach of mangalore is the SURATKAL Beach, this beach is known for its claen surroundings and a beautiful lighthouse. It is a ideal picnic spot with a clean and a calm atmosphere..the view of the sunset from this beach is awesome...

"My experience going to beaches were really wonderful and fun filled. Every Sunday my family and friends would go to the beach and have fun. We used to spend hours together playing in the beach,my grandparents would also join us that was a moment of fun and laughter.My cousins and I used to enjoy  watching the fisherman catch the fishes and then my aunt, and my mom used to go and buy fishes!! It was all a moment of fun,entertainment,joy, and happiness. Now its only a matter to think about the past and enjoy and cherish the old memories..."
